Perfect location in a magnificent building. Online check-in was cumbersome and problematic. If I had not already paid I would have abandoned the check-in process and gone elsewhere. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great size and comfortable bed. Room service was sub-standard; cleaning was poor, ran out of toilet paper, no drinking cups and I felt that one coffee pod per person was cheap. There were no extra blankets and no plug in the bathroom basin.

I'm very annoyed I didn't read the reviews on Google before booking, as the many 1-star reviews are correct. We booked our room through Agoda, where a reception and luggage storage is advertised, but none of those things exist. The place is basically an airbnb, which wouldn't be a problem if they disclosed it. We called and asked for the advertised luggage storage and the lady on the phone said we could just leave it in the "reception" - a desk and a phone with a open door. She insisted it was safe, as the street level door is locked. 2/3 times we went through the door, someone was waiting outside and sneaked in together with us, so we didn't feel very safe to leave our luggage unattended. The room itself wasn't very clean with small debris all over the floor, the soap in the shower was empty and the ceiling over the shower had water damage, with dripping water sounds during the night. I've tried to complain to the hotel, but they just don't respond anymore. The only upside is the location, which is great, right between the train station and the old town.

Rooms are nice and clean. But initial experience - terrible. I've booked through booking.com and apart of confirmation from booking there was no information from owners whatsoever. They stating that they are a hotel - nope, definitely not a hotel. On confirmation there was info on check in between 3pm-10pm. But there was no information that property will be completely not accessible outside of this hours. We arrived 10.30pm.... And end up in other hotel couple streets away as there was no response from "THE HOTEL". Of course they refusing refund... Funniest thing is - to access our room we needed only link from them for online check in... we found out about it from other people staying at the place. I've checked my email 100 times checked also spam - no information from them about access... All it takes - jus put proper info - but it looks like we are asking for too much

I would give this place 5 stars but had a small issue with accessing the property at first. This was likely me being tired and unable to follow the instructions but it was a bit stressful when I first arrived. Once I got the hang of it - it was ok. The rooms are super comfy and very clean. The location is amazing.

Bad experience checking in. Arrived a couple of hours early and sent WhatsApp to see if we could leave our case. Forget it, this is no hotel. Despite saying that they respond 24 hours a day it took 2 hours to respond. Eventually, we were told that we had to check in on line prior to our arrival before we could have the room number and passcode to our room. We got this information for the first time 25 minutes before check in. Thanks. A very complicated form followed uploading passports to their websites.We worked out that we also needed to pay local taxes and half an hour later we have completed everything. I WhatsApp ed back to ask why wouldn't they let us in ? 10 minutes later they responded with a code to get in the room although it didn't. Contacted them again and after a few more minutes we were in. So nice room, great location, terrible service. I really wonder how less tech savvy travellers that don't have WhatsApp or data would cope. Disappointed

We are so happy we have chosen you! Thank you so much! The location is perfect, the view from the window is awesome. There’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. Self checkin is easy. We didn’t face any issues with that. Pleasant surprise - coffee and tea for every day of the stay. We will definitely come back here again!

The location was very good, right in the center of Bergamo, in a beautiful building. Easy access with code to the building and room. Spacious and clean room & bathroom with all that you might need. Good internet speed, big bed.
